Two major IT companies in the country, Infosys and HCL Technology, are set to boost their employees’ pay.
Infosys plans to increase salaries starting from November, with CFO Neelanjan Roy confirming the move.
According to reports from Moneycontrol, a significant portion of variable pay will go to most employees. Meanwhile, HCL Tech, based in Noida, will be hiring 10,000 freshers.
Traditionally, these companies have raised salaries for senior management in July and April. This time, there was a delay in the announcement.
Infosys’ decision makes it the third IT company to announce a salary increase. In other news, Infosys reported a 3.17 percent year-on-year growth
